5.0 out of 5 stars Son loves it.
My 3 year old son can't put this down and has played with it every day for over a year. I have a couple of them new in a box just in case he loses or breaks his.

The stickers are not made well, and on a prior one, my son broke off one of the rear wings. He also broke the front landing gear. As he got older, he has been taking care of his new one better...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Really Die Cast Metal
Only the top 1/3 of the plane is metal. The main wings, tail wings, and underbelly are made of cheap plastic. Flimsy, fragile, and falsely advertized as die-cast metal.

His favorite thing is to pretend to land it in the Hudson.

Great toy if you child really enjoys airplanes. Our daughter points every time she hears a plane fly over our house. It is hard metal, so be careful or you could have a rude morning if you step on it. Very durable.

The boys are enjoying the plane. It appears to be solidly constructed and good attention to detail. The only thing I wish is that it was bigger. However, the kids don't seem to care about the size.

This is a very nice jet for my 4 year old! Made strong and durable. My only complaint would be the detail of the plane, like the windows. It is taped on and is loose. The tape won't last too long but my son will like it anyway!

I like that the body of this plane is a solid metal die cast. (I wish the wings were also metal, but it doesn't seem like planes in the under $10 range have metal wings anymore.)

I would say that the biggest problem I have with this airplane is that the sticker on the body doesn't entirely stick, so it seems like within a few weeks of play it will be peeling off.

I bought this for my son before his first flight on Southwest Airlines and it was a huge hit. I was able to explain the different parts of the plane as we traveled and it helped calm any fears he might have had. Plus, it was a great keepsake and I have seen him playing with it several times around the house and so far it has had many good take offs and landings at the hands of a 6 year old 'pilot' - with little wear!
