4.0 out of 5 stars Good buy
Works fine on my PC and is faster than my Transcend 120X. It lost a star because it skips more often than the Transcend on my Pioneer 6900UB car stereo.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lost a day's worth of shooting with this card
Used the card a few times in Maine with no problems, but after shooting 500+ shots at a bike race, it stopped working. I lost a day's worth of shots. I'll never use an A-Data product again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hacked a Ipod 4gb mini and 5gb Zen Micro, April 19, 2009
This review is from: A-DATA Speedy 16 GB CompactFlash Card ACF16GZR (Personal Computers)
I got two of these, and they both work great. I was able to upgrade my good buddy's ipod mini, as well as my own zen micro to 16 gb. It was alot cheaper than buying a new unit. Highly recommend.

This card is too slow to be reasonably used for continuous-drive shooting on a large-sensor camera. However, on the Canon 5D Mark II, it can keep up with the HD video stream. Some supposedly "fast" cards apparently are only fast on the reading part, not on the writing part, and eventually cause the camera's video buffer to fill up and eventually lock up the camera. This card won't do that. It will hold a good amount of video for (relatively) little money.

It also works just fine, of course, for single-shot shooting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great purchase for the money, January 9, 2009

great card for the money. bought a 32gb for an old ipod mini and this for my dslr. both work great. you're not going to get the same ridiculous write speeds as some of the cards, so if you're into shooting fast motion and need a billion frames a second spend the money- but for even the good amateur photog, this is a must have (esp if you expect to take any reasonable amount of raw images).

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Compact Flash!, October 16, 2008
This review is from: A-DATA Speedy 16 GB CompactFlash Card ACF16GZR (Personal Computers)
This 16G compact flash is awesome! It works extremely well in my Ipac hx2410. I just plugged it into my PDA and it saw it! I didn't have to format the flash drive or anything, it was ready to go! I recently went on vacation to Washington DC and downloaded all my pictures onto the flash drive every day so that the pics would all be in one place. I got home and retrieved the pics with my home PC and all worked out terrifically! I would definitly recomend this product! Very easy to use and tons of room! Very fast as well! For the money I definitly got more than my monies worth!

5.0 out of 5 stars An upgrade for my iPod Mini, September 24, 2008

I purchase this memory card to upgrade my iPod mini (full description google "ipod mini flashcard"). The installation is easy and the result even better. I have no problems so far with the memory card as other posted here. I noticed that it takes a few time to transfer my 6gb of music to the card/iPod but I'm not sure if that is a problem with card speed or with iPod transfer rate itself. I just want to say that this image does not show the actual memory card, try this (i'm sorry about the publicity but you can always remove the link)

Would I recommend the product? certainly
Would I recommend the upgrade? even more!
