These speakers are great quality and sound. Definately a bargain for the money you pay. You do need your own receiver to hook them into and they do not come with a Bass but if you have all that or if you dont care about the bass then I would definately try these speakers!
Also, a big issue for me when buying things online, is not always knowing who you are doing business with and if they are honest people. I can easily say that this vendor is. I had an issue with my first order from them, and although it was a little difficult getting a hold of them; when i did they did everything they could to make it right. This is not always something you can depend on when ordering online and so I would take advantage of ordering from someone who is honest and can be someone you know you can feel confident in buying from!

i have 2 pairs of these from a HTiB (home theater in a box).. Please note that these are replacement speakers for a SONY only HTiB.. you can use these on other systems but you will blow out (possibly catch fire) your amplifier if its rated at 8OHMS and higher. these speakers are rated at 3ohms each which is really wierd.. but you can use them with a 1 to 2ohm amp (stereo receiver) if you do not know what any of this means just do not buy them.. if you know what this means then still do not buy them because they sound like dollar store speakers anyways.. however you can also wire these in series if you know how to do it..

I bought these speakers to go with my dvd player that needed new speakers. When I opened the box they were brand new in a carton, They are authentic Sony speakers just like on the Sony website!! After I got speaker wire and hooked them up I WAS SO IMPRESSED. The sound is awesome, I might even get some for my mom and little brother for Christmas. What an awesome product ! ((Also they shipped the SAME day I bought them and arrived in TWO days!! FAN-TA-STIC!!))

They NOW list that "little" detail in the description,and although you may come across a great deal on these,BEWARE.I've JUST blown up my Sony STR-DH710 receiver using these(great receiver btw,when NOT blown)! I pushed it a little too far, the receiver shut off,only to NOT ever be able to come back on! (No,its not a HTIB receiver,its a regular 8 ohm one) LUCKILY its still under warranty and is being sent to California(?) to be fixed as we speak.I have a 7.1 set up and it did sound great,I DID blast it quite a bit..but the last time I guess was just a little TOO much.The receiver didn't even go into "protection mode" and it was BURNING hot to the touch afterwards,so do your research.I DID know they were 3 ohm,but decided to risk it,and I paid(well,not literally-but some will)Needless to say,these speakers are now "basement jam room" speakers..Stick to 8 ohm speakers for home theater receivers!

Thanks for fast services - Speakers are only 3-ohm , just enough power to deliver for small room - But the price is good as it is .

the sony surround speakers were described as being regular speakers, they are not. they only work with 3 ohm dvd systems, they are not complete. the description led me astray. no point in returning them, shipping cost would eat my money anyway. i am very disappointed., i gave them to my daughter to fiddle with.

I slowly over loaded the speakers from my last surround sound set and decided that i needed a quick cheap replacement, I still use my other center speaker and my sub from other set and run all of them together through a teac 8900, the sound is great and plenty loud enough to make my neighbors bang on the wall, so for any one who needs a good set of speakers for a very decent price these are highly recommended. I use these with my ps3 and blast away at rockband all the time, they definitely are worth the money.

You cannot beat the price, arrived on time in new condition. Bought them to replace older,worn out, sony surround speakers. They sound great, they look great, and they cost 30BUCKS!!!! you cant beat it!!

I haven't bought these but I have a Sony HTIB that uses the speakers and I think it should be noted you can ONLY use these with a HTIB receiver. 3ohms is a goofy standard, you want to get 8ohm speakers for any good AVR. Beware.

this is a fake, it does not come with any cords, or any instruction on how to set it up, dont buy, this if you do its your own fault.
Im warning you its a waste of money.
