I purchased these, because I thought they'd look great for some of my DVD collection.

They do look fantastic, but they are made of carboard. One of the corners was badly torn when I received them. I taped it & turned it around, so it wouldn't show. If it is something you'll be getting into frequently, you won't be happy. But, if you want to store something & leave it there, this will probably work fine.

I wish they had been made of material & I would have purchased more.

These hold the old video tapes nicely, but I don't think they should be limited to that use only. I can think of a dozen other uses for them. I was surprised they didn't look so "cheap" that I want to hide them out of sight. Nice enough for the home office for a professional appearance.

These are cardboard, but we knew that and like them. We use them to hold our DVD's. Fit in our cupboard perfectly and allow us to see all the DVD's. The DVD's fit in the boxes perfectly on their sides with the name of movie up. The lids don't fit on but that is fine for how we are using them.
