Admittedly, I am at some disadvantage as a judge of the tonal quality of this product, since I wear hearing aids. Still, when I compare what I hear with these strings to other strings I have used I am quite pleased. The tone of the composite 3rd (G) string was most notable to me. It seems to "ring" or sustain the tone more clearly than did any I have used before. I am very pleased with entire set of strings and will continue using this product.
