Although it was a fabulous price for an extra battery to have on hand, it won't hold a charge and I can't get it to charge enough for the red light on the charger to turn to green. A great price isn't great if I never get to use the product.

Ordered two as replacements for Canon still camera. First one out of the packaging wouldn't take a charge. Thought it might be charger so sprang for new charger from same company.
And asked for replacement.
Got charger, second battery from order, took charge but when the replacement arrived it was DOA. Sent them back.

I purchased 2 of these batteries to take with me on a trip to Africa. Initially I was concerned about buying a non Canon battery, especially considering my destination. I did not want to be caught without a working battery on Safari. I bought 2 of these (still cost less than 1 Canon battery) a couple of weeks before I left and had some time to test them. They charged and worked exactly the same as the Canon brand battery. On my trip, they did not disappoint. The batteries recharged just fine with my Canon charger and a UK power adapter while in Africa. I would definitely recommend this product.

I guess I should have known, but hoped that this relatively cheap battery would have lasted... Alas no! Here I am about 10 months after purchasing and the battery will neither take or produce a charge. Rats!

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I decided to take a chance on buying one of these, instead of a Canon-branded battery, hoping I might happen to get one from a "good batch." The battery I received did not hold a charge - even though it seemed to behave normally while charging, when I inserted it into my camera, I got the "no battery" message. Based on the other reviews, I'd say the chances are pretty high that you'll get a dud. I'll definitely be paying the money for a Canon battery next time.

This batter is worthless. After charging and using it four times over the period of 2 months, it no longer holds a charge. Don't waste your money on this inferior battery. My 3+ year old canon battery is still working perfectly! I wish I could get my money back.

Does not work at all! Waste of money. If you buy check the sellers return policy first.

Great replacement battery, excellent price. This is as reliable and as long-lasting as the original battery that came with my Canon Rebel Digital SLR.

Another battery is not a bad thing .... I ordered 2 of these as a back up for yet another set that I have been using for the past year. I charged them and put them into my camera ... both had such poor battery life I am debating to just toss them out. Shame I honestly thought they would hold a charge that is comparable to the stock battery. If I got a 1/4 the amount of pictures off them I would be lucky.

A great replacement for my aging factory battery. Works just like new, and at a great price, I am impressed.
