Wire worked great. Price was incredible. The + and- labeling was a little difficult to distinguish. Otherwise excellent product.

As other reviewers have said, the quality of the wire and especially the sheathing is excellent. Unlike many others that are stiff and take a form of their own, this stuff lays very nicely, like a wet spaghetti noodle. My guess is that it would do the same even in cold temperatures.

As one other reviewer mentioned, the only thing that could be improved is to make the positive/negative labels easier to read. Not worthy of a one-star reduction.

If you need speaker wire, you won't be disappointed if you get this stuff. Be prepared to rig up a mini platform using a broom handle as the spool's axle to make the wire feed easy. I used two clamps to hold the broom stick onto a portable vice table.

500 ft for 40bux is really good deal, I agree with other reviewers that the + is kinda hard to see on the wire itself, but other than that it's good quality speaker wire.

We are building a home and I recently ran all of the wiring for our home media room as well as our main living room prior to the home being sheet-rocked. After setting up a spool feed system with a broom handle, the wire came off smoothly and ran through holes, over boards, in between stuff easily and was definitely more sturdy some some other wire I've used. The reviews earlier that said the different wires are difficult to tell from the light writing on the one wire must be blind as it's fairly easy to see. Overall, an excellent purchase that was well worth the $ and installed easily.

I found this wire to be an excellent value. I'm not an audiophile -- I just wanted to extend the reach of speakers throughout my house. It comes off the spool nicely and is soft and pliable, almost rubbery. Very easy to remove the outer casing without damaging the internal twisted wire. As with most spooled wire, to avoid twisting as you remove it, you want to thread a pole through the center of the spool and allow the spool to rotate to release the wire.

I agree with another review that the marking on the cable to distinguish positive from negative is difficult to see -- one of the two wires has a pale gray ink with small, maybe 1 or 2 millimeter, dots running along it. But overall it worked perfectly for me.

I purchased this at Amazon and with free shipping it was half or less the price of other options. What a deal. I was looking at it for a while and they had indicated "usually ships in 1 or 2 months". MONTHS? But then I was looking one day and they had it in stock suddenly. I scooped one up and never looked back. Very happy with this purchase.

Great price for a ton of wire. Twice the amount for half the price. Used the whole roll and it was one continuous wire... no breaks or splices. The blue color is not just cool looking; it makes it easier to see when fishing it through walls. 100% SATISFIED.

more than enough cable for what i needed. nice, thick coating. i will agree with everyone else, the only downfall with this product is the brightness of the + and - signs, but they are not impossible to see. i highly recommend.

First I'd like to say I don't know why people are having a problem with the markings on this wire. Positive is very well marked with "+" along the entire length.
As for the wire itself, I'd rate it excellent quality and the fact that there is 500 feet is just awesome! Great deal in my opinion and would highly recommend it.

This wire works great. I had it installed throughout my house into other rooms as well as my main theatre room. wire does have + and - marked on it .. you do have to look for it. All and all ... it's really a great deal.
