This is NOT a Sony battery but instead it's a similarly designed knock-off. Look closely at the label.
I bought one for my Sony Cybershot camera and I got the same message as other reviewers got; "Please use a compatible battery"
Sony has installed software that can recognize it's own proprietary battery and will not allow the camera to use any others.
This Manufacturer has been aware of this for over a year and is still selling these useless batteries here. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Do not buy this battery if you have a Sony DSC-T300. I but the battery in and the Sony camera came up with a display on the screen that read "Please use compatiable battery". This battery will not work with my camera, cant say if it will work with others.
