Battery would not take a charge. Had it on the charger all night and it did not power the camera at all. Put it on a volt meter and nothing. I am not sure how someone could create something that is even vaguely battery-like that literally will not take any charge whatsoever. Maybe I got a dud, but you would think it would move the needle at least a little if it were just old or cheaply constructed. Camera works fine with our other battery (not this brand).

Would not charge. Returned the first one, the second one will not charge in the same charger that the regular battery uses. (And I followed the directions) Now I can not find out how to return it. I will contest my credit card charge. Do not buy this piece of junk. Sorry I could not give it ZERO stars as that is what it is worth.

Thought I bought a new one, but it does not even last more than 10 pictures with Flash. Hopeless, worthless and a waste of money.

This battery appears to be fine but my Sony camera fails to retain the date when I use this battery. Authorized Sony battery works fine.

I have to manually set the date each power on. This means that the camera battery is worthless.

the sony psc-w220 charger would not charge this battery. it blinked for hours and after there was absolutely no charge. now i have to deal with returning it and i am not happy

DOESN'T WORK, POSSIBLE SCAM. I don't know what they are trying to sell here but the battery does not work. The battery does not hold a charge or charge. Seems like a scam. I would not buy this brand battery and may not buy anyother battery from Amazon again.

I purchased this battery, and have charged it several times in my origional charger that came with my Sony camera. I followed the directions on the package on how to charge, and the battery will still not work in my camera.

Ordered 2 replacement Sony NP-BG1 Equivalent Lithium Ion Camera Batteries. The prescribed 10-hour charging procedure did not charge either battery. A voltage check shows: genuine Sony battery 3.92 volts, these batteries 0.72 volts. They are packaged by "Maximal Power" and obviously come from a manufacturer with zero quality control.

This battery has performed very well and at a great price. Always good to have an extra battery.

I bought this not wanting to buy the Sony overpriced version figuring that a battery is a battery...and so far I guessed right! In fact, this one may last a little longer than the one that came with my Sony DSC-W150. I've had this a little over a month and it's in my camera now and so far it's still going strong longer than the original. Charging was the exact same as the original, it fits in the camera & charger perfectly so the dimensions are on spec...it's a good battery!

This battery is labeled as 3.6v 1300mAh Li-ion.
The Sony NP-BG1 is labeled 3.6v 3.4Wh..whatever that is...and is a Lithium Ion as well.

So far, so good...I'd buy it again without reservations.
