Double bench arbor, August 24, 2010
This review is from: DC America PAGAR808MBR-S Toscana Double Bench Arbor with Pergola Style Top, Bronze (Lawn & Patio)
I like the arbor, but it seemed to develop some rust on it and we have only had it a couple months. It might need to be sprayed with some sort of protection.

OK, but slightly flimsy, November 29, 2011
This review is from: DC America PAGAR808MBR-S Toscana Double Bench Arbor with Pergola Style Top, Bronze (Lawn & Patio)
This took my husband and me about 2 hours to assemble. No problems during assembly as long as we followed the instructions exactly. Don't lose any of the bolts, as there are no spares. We did have a weld that had popped loose on one of the seat backrests, so I'm hoping that the company will replace that (contacting them today). Overall, it seems a little flimsy, and I'm not sure I want to expose the seats to my teenage son and his friends, but it is attractive. There was superficial rust on a couple of the pieces, but the paint job seemed decent, although we may need to renew it in a few years.

As good as it looks in the picture!, October 15, 2011

I am very impressed with this product - it took my friend and I (both adult females) just over 2 hours to get it put together. The aluminum pieces are light enough to handle easily but still very sturdy. It came out looking great, and is quite comfortable to sit on.
We were able to move it in the box to the spot in the yard where I wanted it with a dolly with no problem. The quality is pretty good - the welds are visible but not too bad, one end cap was missing off a bar, and one decorative knob was a little out of shape, but all minor things. The instructions were pretty good and I especially liked how all of the screws and tools were on a card with individual section openings so it was easy to keep track of everything without losing anything. (that said, my kids played with it when we weren't looking and lost a screw, so a spare would have been nice!) Even included stakes which worked well in the decomposed granite area we installed in, although not sure they were really necessary.
One recommendation on the directions is to put one bench together at a time - if you try to do them both at the same time there is a good chance that you'll have to re-do parts because the pieces are not all interchangeable - you have to pay attention to which holes are facing which direction to make sure to use the right piece. But if you get one side put together then the other will be easier.
Extra tools we used: two 4 foot ladders, socket wrench set (although the little bolt wrenches included were handy to hold nuts in place), mallet for stakes
