was hoping this bench was good. but it turns out after unpacking the box first thing to see if crack wood back board. putting them together was pretty easy. But afterwards sitting on the bench doesn't make you feel safe,feel like its shaking, don't need want to have more then two person sit on it at the sametime.

I've been wanting a bench for my walkway for a while and finally found one for under $100. I guess I got what I paid for. The back of the bench is plastic, not cast iron like the legs. The wood slots are flimsy when you sit on them. I hope the bench holds up to people sitting on it. It looks good but it's a little cheaply made.

I purchased this as a gift. Once I opened it and starting putting it together I found that it would not align properly without having to tug, pull, twist just to get the wooden slats to line up with the holes in the sides. While doing this, one side had a piece of the metal snap apart. Now I have to see if I can get it welded. The metal brace that goes under the wooden slats was not shaped properly and while putting that in place I had to bend it and put the screws in at the same time. I am very disappointed in this product. If I would have known in advance of how cheap the materials and manufacturing was, I would not have bought this as a gift. I will never buy another DC America product ever again.
