I was a little concerned when I received this item and the pole for my umbrella was about 2cm to big, but then I realized there were ring adapters in the hole.

Once I removed the largest adapter, my umbrella slid right in. The base is very sturdy and has kept my umbrella standing during some pretty fierce winds a couple of weeks ago (my umbrella is a 6ft square tilting with a vented top).

You will need a wrench to tighten the bolt on the underside to keep the umbrella for leaning. Hand tightening will not do the trick. Other than that, assemble took all of 5 minutes

Rebuilt my deck and just couldn't put the old concrete stand back on the beautiful new deck. Had been looking around locally for a nice stand. Was shocked at the HIGH prices and how boring the selection was. Found this on Amazon, and am 100% satisfied with the weight, quality and price of this product. Also love the fact that it's rust-proof.

This is a heavy duty umbrella base which works great. We had some big winds this spring and needed a base to hold the 9' umbrella during the storm. The base color happens to match our furniture color. I had it shipped the slowest way, since shipping was expensive.

I bought a new patio set, but the store was all out of umbrella stands. After searching the web, I decided to buy this one. I definitely made the right choice. Not only does this stand look good, but it will last for many years. The color matches my table and chairs, so it looks really nice. Since I have a rectangular umbrella, it was important to me that the stand holds the umbrella pole tight so it doesn't turn. This stand does exactly what I wanted it to. Shipping from any other site would have cost a fortune because of the weight. With my Prime membership, I got free shipping and it arrived in 2 days. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a stand that is built to withstand the elements.

I purchased the 24" diameter. Its fits comfortably under my 38" resin table. This is heavyweight and solid. I'm sure it will fit most umbrella poles. It has four possible adjustments; three removable rings, and can be used with no rings for very large poles. The base is very slightly domed to accommodate it's "feet" underneath. This is a good feature, because it makes the base very stable on the ground. It can be used on grounds that are not completely level. It's very stable and solid. No slight rocking...like my previous base. The 24" is about 44 pounds, with "feet" firmly planted on the ground. It was easy to assemble. Please know, most of the parts are already pre-assembled, so you don't have spend time looking in the box for parts on the included parts checklist.

There is an inner disk in the cylinder of the stand. It holds the bottom of the umbrella pole level. No hassles with trying to make sure the umbrella pole is straight, before tightening the pin screw. The stand on the 24" base is about 18 inches. This longer length give additional support to the pole. I highly recommend the 24" for anyone who lives in a windy area.

I purchased directly from Amazon...with free shipping, but as of this review, Amazon is not currently selling this item. Other sellers are charging shipping fees. It is nice to have delivered. For this, I would have paid for shipping to avoid hauling from a store. As I mentioned earlier, this base stand will fit virtually all umbrella poles. Initially, I was concerned about ordering online, because I knew if it didn't fit, return shipping would be too much, in both cost and hassle, and I'd be stuck with it. This one will work for you.


UPDATE; Great stand! It doesn't budge and it doesn't need any stability help from a weighty table. My table is extremely lightweight. Recently, we had two really bad storms One was bad enough to uproot many trees. This stand held my umbrella firmly in place during the extremely high winds we experienced. I highly recommend this one.

A good base for the umbrellas on our open deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The best part is that they don't rust!

This is a nice umbrella stand. The base (metal) is very sturdy and seems like it will last. The umbrella holder (plastic) unfortunately doesn't seem like it will last quite as long and is not as sturdy. Perhaps it will, but I always get the feeling that the umbrella will tip over if there is a gust of wind due to the plastic not being quite as secure or as sturdy as the metal base.

I think that you will still find this umbrella base and holder to your liking. It might be worth it to look into ways to secure the holder better though.

I bought this umbrella base/stand for a 9' umbrella and a circular bar style table. The table and 4 chairs are bronze in color as well. The color and shape of this stands works very well with the patio set. It does the job of holding the umbrella just fine and takes the stress of the center of the table glass and center light with 6 LEDs.

The only strike I give is to the cardboard packaging which looked like it was mauled by a cougar or perhaps played with by Magilla Gorilla, or both, I just don't know which order. The whole box was barely held together with a lot of packing tape. Luckily all the small parts were there and the stand went together very easily.

I'm happy with it.

Great umbrella base. We ordered 4 of these, but only two were perfect. One did not have the pre-drilled hole in the center, so I took care of it, and another had a bent threaded support post (used it anyway). Most of the plastic inserts that reduce the hole opening to better stabilize and accommodate the umbrella post break apart. I may be incorrect about how these plastic pieces function, if at all. Overall the stand is attractive, heavy enough to handle an umbrella in the wind and recommended. I would advise that a taller vertical post would improve the product even more. If necessary, I will buy a longer pipe to place inside that will act as a reducer and stronger support member.

Does the trick and much more pleasing to the eye than a plastic base filled with sand. Matched my set beautifully.
