Mad Magazine doesn't seem to have the same influential impact on today's youth that it did with my group back in the 1970's when it provided some seriously mischievous and parent-aggravating high-octane satire & irreverence. And what better way for MM to commemorate its 60th anniversary than by combining the iconic image of Alfred E. Nueman with DC characters to produce this great line of "Just-Us League of Stupid Heroes".

Spectacularly garish, the colors on this Joker are brilliantly lurid. The "Clown Prince of Crime" comes has bleached skin on his face & hands...but not on his legs? His misaligned eyes are very green & his smiling lips are vividly red. Unlike the Wonder Woman wig this figure's own wild hair, along with his eyebrows, are dyed green.

Sporting a purple trench coat (that does not open) over a green dress shirt adorned with an old fashioned purple string tie. His shorts are a pair of lime green boxers that have 2 bats printed on them. Purple pinstriped socks are held up by black garters. He has a very stylish pair of black & white wingtip Spats and on his right hand is a typical Joker "Joy Buzzer" ring.

Articulation is pretty basic; swivel-joints at the neck & wrists, hinged-joints at the elbows & knees, and his shoulders are ball-jointed. These figures can come with some seriously frozen joints that may require a soaking in some hot tap water to free. I find that if you trust your instincts and think it's going to break it probably will.

No accessories are provided beyond the standard round 2.5" diameter black figure stand. I will warn you that the peg in this stand can sometimes pop out while trying to connect to the figure. This does not mean that it is broken.
