Bat-mite is a magical creature from another dimension, who idolizes Batman and uses his powers to create dangerous situations where he can best watch his hero in action. As a character, he is a throwback to the goofy, post "Seduction of the Innocent" era of comics, where comic producers went out of their way to be campy and non-controversial.Bat-mite makes for a great little stuffed toy. He is about the size of a beanie baby, and wears his familiar hand-sewn costume, including the crooked Bat-ears and mis-drawn Bat signal insignia. He would be great for little kids, and is well put together. Very cute! |
