Figure is beautiful and looks just like Matthew Goode's version of Ozymandias. Highly recommended out of the Watchmen figures. Probably my favorite out of the set. The paint is beautiful and the cape/costume are life like.

My boyfriend loves comics. He loves Watchmen, so I purchased most of the character figures for him to display in our house.
These looks great, and come with a stand and scene- however, as nice as they look, they fall over regularly. Not that big of a deal, but there's been countless times when we've arrived home to find one (or none) still standing tall. It seems like the weight of the figures might be a little too much for what was provided.

I remember the Watchmen comics when I was in highschool so it was nostalgic for me to get the collection more than anything, It is a good series and well sculpted and painted.

The rub is, I ordered six action figures from Amazon that shipped in five boxes, it cost almost as much ship as the toys did. Three of them arrived in semi-crushed boxes shipped through USPS(product was ok) and one was shipped in a soft mailer USPS(it arrived in one piece thankfully) the box shipped via UPS (brown) was the only one I felt was properly packaged and recieved in an acceptable manner. Products great. Shipping needs to be improved.

The Watchmen series from DC Direct has to be one of the most well-done action figure lines I've ever seen, and this particular figure is EXTREMELY well-sculpted to resemble the actor and character in question. He really looks just like Matthew Goode did in the film- the only detail they missed was his eye color. Even better, there seems to be far less facial variation between individual Ozymandias figures than exists with the Comedian and Silk Spectre II figures, who from what I've seen tend to be prone to some pretty unfortunate paint screwups. So rest easy, Amazon friends- the Ozymandias figure you buy has a 99% chance of looking just as good as the one they photographed for the page image.

He comes packaged with a stand, but he doesn't actually need it. He's sturdy, balanced, and able to stand on just about any flat surface you can find. The only quibbles that can be pointed out is that he does have a small seam, presumably from the mold he was cast from, running horizontally across his head; and that you will want to be careful not to let him get knocked down from wherever you display him, because the paint at the very tip of his nose might chip, leaving a little black spot. I personally was able to fix this problem on mine with a tiny dot of foundation of all things, but a more serious collector may want to try to come up with a way of hooking him down if you keep him in a place where he's likely to get budged.

The figure is beautiful, the paint is perfect, the durability is okay. I mean I am not going to be playing with it, although I wish I could! Ha ha! All in all it is a wonderful and ABSOLUTELY beautiful figure. I highly recommend this to any fan of collectors items, watchmen, Matthew Goode, or Mr.Veidt!
