The DC Direct Ame Comi series makes a wonderful addition to the collections of aficionados of action figures/PVC statues.Female characters are often the most sought after by collectors, so the idea of creating a series which reinvents the female characters of the DC Comics universe in the style of Japanese anime is brilliant. The statues are all beautifully sculpted and imaginatively reinvented, blending two iconic forms of entertainment. The Robin Figure is one of the best figures I've seen of the more recent ones. The female Robin has been re-styled as a funky, punky, cosplay club kid (albeit one who could kick your butt). |
