One of the DCU's most feared villain finally gets the heroclix treatment, and in a big way. This monster towers over standard clix, both in terms of physical size and the power it contains in its dial. While it is plugged that the Anti-Monitor has LED lights, I'd hardly consider it worth much. All that means is his eyes and mouth light up, which look kinda funky when they do.

The piece itself is ridiculous to take down. At full power, his worth stands at a whopping 1000 points, with lesser 800 and 600 point reductions available. He can practically go anywhere on the map on a whim without interference (thanks to Phasing/Teleport), and even attack two targets with a range of 12!

The greatest kick to the teeth for his opponents is his power, "I Will Not Die Until You Die With Me!". It's a lethal two-punch power that: A.) Gives him Exploit Weakness, then B.)if the Anti-Monitor doesn't kill an opponent, he is given the chance to regenerate! This is no joke, as his damage value usually sticks at around 4 (even at the end, it's last few dials cap at 6 damage!).

That's not to say he's invincible: like in the books, this just means your opponent needs to desperately bum rush you with everything they've got.

His minions (Shadow Demon and Thunderer) are nice little additions, but they're hardly serious benefits (if you're playing 1000 pt games, your opponent is probably using serious hitters). Even still, Shadow Demon can pop in at will with Phasing/Teleport and take good hits at you with "Anti-Monitor's Elite" (aka Blades/Claws/Fangs). The Thunderer...well...I guess he looks kinda cool. The Paraiah dial is kinda neat, but if you're looking at this product, it's probably because you only care about the Anti-Monitor. And you know what...you'd be right to.

Absolutely a must buy for players looking for an intense game. The figure not only looks cool, it is a hell of a piece.

I don't play heroclix so I can't tell you whether or not this works for that. I am a huge DC fan though and saw this and couldn't resist. Looks very cool sitting on my computer desk.
