This toy is very durable and sturdy I think kids can have this toy because nothing comes off it but it does have a pin in it so be careful.

DC Universe Classics wave 12 (or you could call it the Darksied series) skewed a little more obscure than some past waves. They also have some updated packaging. We have here Copperhead, a snake themed villain who appeared in Gotham City.

For Kids:
As a toy he's pretty cool. He's a dude in a snake outfit with a cool snake head hat. Now that you mention it he'd fit in really well as a G. I. Joe villain. And of course he's a good solid toy as most of the DCUC stuff is and he comes with a button! Downside is that he's not recognizable at all so no kid is going to be clamoring for him.

For Adults:
Very solid sculpt. The body is plain but all the orangey yellow areas are covered in sculpted scales giving him a cool all over texture. The main event is the open mouth snake head which has lots of detail on the face and around the eyes. And in the mouth, under the menacing fangs is his manically laughing human face. It looks both silly but also kind of cool at the same time. The main downside is his neck collar has a scaled chest piece (Kevlar) that hangs down and because it does not attach to his chest it looks like a bib. A snake bib.

That orangey yellow color covers most of his body with green for the boots, gloves and briefs and a brighter green on the snake eyes. The best paint operation is that a clear coat was applied to scaly areas which give him a shiny snake skin look.

No surprises in articulation - he's got, cut neck, ball pin shoulders, pin elbows, cut wrists, ab crunch, cut waist, the universal hip joints, cut thighs, pin knees and ankles.

All the figures in this wave come with a little collector button, the kind you pin to your shirt, with little comic pictures loosely related to the figure. No other accessories other than his piece of Darksied.

He's a cool and obscure if a bit uninteresting character without much extra.

The Collect and Connect, Darksied, is a welcome addition to all the Fourth World characters. He stands a fairly impressive 8 ½" tall. His craggy skin looks just a touch soft to me in comparison with an older (but smaller) version of the character I have but he still looks pretty good. There's good detail despite that and even the bottom of his feet contain all that Fourth World circuitry. He's just as articulated as his smaller counterparts and even has a couple of accessories. One, he's got a Mother Box he can hold in his hand and that also will attach to the back of his belt. Two, he has an interchangeable right hand, one in the regular blue glove posed to hold the Mother Box and a open menacing golden gloved hand covered in circuits and machinery. He's not as impressive as I'd like but still a very good figure who deserves 4 stars.
