To be perfectly honest, there is no reason why this costs as much as it does. It has the same amount of plastic and detail as for instance the goblin tinker that costs 13.99. Its roughly the same weight, same height and same build quality. I suppose they thought since they put collector on the box its worth 45 dollars. Im just a sucker for the lich king because I enjoy his back story and one of the coolest villians in the whole warcraft universe so I got one.

Overall the figure is pretty cool, although Id have liked a different pose for him. But this is really only for diehard warcraft fans. The price tag makes it a hard pill to swallow really and in hindsight I wished Id just waited for a opened one on ebay for much cheaper since I was planning on buying one to display anyway.

My son and I collect the World of Warcraft figures and this one finally arrived yesterday after months of push backs on the order. We couldn't be more pleased with it's arrival! The detail on Arthas is simply stunning and we believe that he is the epitome of our collection to date. Fine craftsmanship, sturdy and lots of care were taken in the detail. Frostmourne hungers!

After many pushbacks on waiting for this collectable it finally arrived yesterday. This is one of the must have peices if you are collecting WOW figures. I did initially expect him to be a bit bigger, but then again Arthas was a human. He is a little bit larger than the Human warrior figure (Series 1). Comes in a nicely decorative box for those of you that keep your collectables packaged up. Its very tempting to take him out of the box, but it looks good on display as is. Very good purchase!

very awsome figure i like the size of the sword its awsome the details is like what you see in Pic up its really awsome, I bought it from Gohastings and it was shipped to me like a cake .. no dmg its all safe, Thanks Gohastings .. wait for my orders soon it will be mass toys :D

Am really sorry to tell you for the first time that am very sad coz I received my toy ( DC Unlimited World of Warcraft Deluxe Collector Figure: The Lich King: Arthas Menethil) with a piece of the crown broken. I had to use super glue to fix it.

this will make a problem of trust.

I have almost all of the warcraft figure series, and can say that this one is one of my favorites. great "authentic" Lich King pose, very well made and highly detailed, the base is nice looking and corresponds to the figure, and He stands well/sturdy.

My only complaint would be the strangely high price of this figure. Yes, he's a key character and a staple in warcraft Lore, but he has the same material quality and detail level of the other "non deluxe" figures.

My 9 year old Grandson plays World of Warcraft and so do I. We love the Lich King theory. I ordered this figure for his birthday. He fell in love with it the minute he opened the gift. It's not moveable and you can't really PLAY with it, but it's a great collector's item. He's old enough now to appreciate the detail. There are very pointy parts. It's not for small children.
