STELLAR!!!!!!!!!!,

Simple, smart design stops people in thier tracks. Who knew defying gravity could be so much fun? Use with the bottom plate under a cloth or alone on a conductive metal surface. I use them with gerber daisies on my stainless steel countertop and they stop traffic! Line them up on the top of the refrigerator door. Sharp, witty and well worth the $$$$$!

My mother in law loves vases. She has a huge collection and is always looking for new ways to show off flowers, particularly a single stem. I was very pleased with these vases. There are 5 in the package - each one is made of aluminum and is very lightweight. At the bottom of each vase is a strong magnet. There's a thin metal disk to go with each vase. The idea is that you place the disk under a tablecloth and then the magnet will grab hold of it though the cloth. I was impressed with how strong the magnet is, and how well it works even full of water and a flower. They don't tip. What do you do if you don't have a tablecloth? Well you can hide the disk amongst other table decorations, or even under a cloth napkin. Or you can just leave them visible. The vases look so improbable that they work, even when you can see the source of the "trick". My mother in law attached one to the top of her refrigerator door and when you go to open the door there's this very unlikely looking vase balancing on top - it's quite clever and fun. One bummer is that the vase opening is really thin. So although they show roses in the cases in the picture, you may find that you have to trim the thorns off of thick stemmed roses to get them in there. And if you're clipping roses from your own garden, the stems will probably be too curvy to really work with the vase. The other bummer is that since it's so small it can't hold a lot of water, so you'll be refilling them often, especially if it's a thick stemmed flower. But I guess that's why it pays to have a BIG collection of vases - you can always choose a different vase if this one doesn't work. I would definitely buy this again, and probably will for gifts for other people in the future. Bravo!

I bought these as a birthday gift for my mom. She loves flowers and has so many vases but these were original. The magnets on these are REALLY strong. They stand up very well. The cat is upset he tried to knock them over and they pop back into place. Will have to get a video of it, very entertaining. I am really pleased with this purchase and think the gift recipient is as well.
