STELLAR!!!!!!!!!!,

Simple, smart design stops people in thier tracks. Who knew defying gravity could be so much fun? Use with the bottom plate under a cloth or alone on a conductive metal surface. I use them with gerber daisies on my stainless steel countertop and they stop traffic! Line them up on the top of the refrigerator door. Sharp, witty and well worth the $$$$$!

My mother in law loves vases. She has a huge collection and is always looking for new ways to show off flowers, particularly a single stem. I was very pleased with these vases. There are 5 in the package - each one is made of aluminum and is very lightweight. At the bottom of each vase is a strong magnet. There's a thin metal disk to go with each vase. The idea is that you place the disk under a tablecloth and then the magnet will grab hold of it though the cloth. I was impressed with how strong the magnet is, and how well it works even full of water and a flower. They don't tip.
What do you do if you don't have a tablecloth? Well you can hide the disk amongst other table decorations, or even under a cloth napkin. Or you can just leave them visible. The vases look so improbable that they work, even when you can see the source of the "trick". My mother in law attached one to the top of her refrigerator door and when you go to open the door there's this very unlikely looking vase balancing on top - it's quite clever and fun. One bummer is that the vase opening is really thin. So although they show roses in the cases in the picture, you may find that you have to trim the thorns off of thick stemmed roses to get them in there. And if you're clipping roses from your own garden, the stems will probably be too curvy to really work with the vase. The other bummer is that since it's so small it can't hold a lot of water, so you'll be refilling them often, especially if it's a thick stemmed flower. But I guess that's why it pays to have a BIG collection of vases - you can always choose a different vase if this one doesn't work. I would definitely buy this again, and probably will for gifts for other people in the future. Bravo!

I bought these as a birthday gift for my mom. She loves flowers and has so many vases but these were original. The magnets on these are REALLY strong. They stand up very well. The cat is upset he tried to knock them over and they pop back into place. Will have to get a video of it, very entertaining. I am really pleased with this purchase and think the gift recipient is as well.

This is the coolest bud vase ever! We used it as favors for our wedding dinner with a single tulip in each. They're about the diameter of a quarter and look so sleek and elegant, you can put 'em anywhere! Had them for 6 months now, no signs of rust or chips or anything, I love them!

Very strong magnets, easy to clean. Works best with thinner-stemmed flowers, such as carnations, small roses, some Gerbers.

What a "hoot"...I have had sooo much fun with these vases. They are so tiny and only hold one flower...but have great height. I put them on my entry hall table in front of a large mirror, and of course used a tablerunner so I could use the magnet underneath and place the vase on top of the tablerunner...and it looks like you have balanced the flower. I told my grandkids not to bump the table or Granny's flowers would fall over...and I told them that it took Granny hours to balance them. Oh, how fun it was to watch them tip-toe past them and to warn each other not to get too close to the table. I was laughing so hard that I just had to tell them the truth. They were amazed and then when their folks came to pick them up~~they told their parents to be careful of Granny's flowers. So, everyone has had a good laugh. Then I was doing a lunch for my friends and put them down the center of my table. ALL FIVE vases looked awesome...and of course all my friends asked me how on earth did you balance those...it was a great conversation piece. I know that I am going to use these often. I am so glad I found these. TJ

I bought these for my mom, but kept one myself.
- They're beautiful, and people that sees them for the first time are usually impressed by the "trick". - Definitely best to have them under a large tablecloth or directly on a metal surface. They won't fall over easily. - They can run out of water more quickly since they're so thin. - The metal scratches/nicks a bit easily (against other metal, or other vases). However, said scratches/dents are mostly imperceptible even if they happen, so I don't consider these to be very fragile (and compared to typical glass vases, they're obviously way more durable).

Looks Elegant in the Bathroom Too!,

My sister discovered that this vase also works at the bathroom sink WITHOUT the use of the metal plate.
Just place the vase directly onto the horizontal porcelain area near the faucet head and handles. The porcelain areas act as a magnetic surface because the entire sink is solid metal covered by porcelain. I cut a long thin branch of leaves from my garden, placed it in the vase, and it looks great!

These were a gift and they were a huge hit! Everyone who has come into my aunt's home comments on how cool and how beautiful these are. The look is very nice--like a nice stainless steel. The magnets are very strong--even if you tap it a little bit, it fixes itself and stands right back up. You can actually fit a couple of flowers in each vase.

Very unique. This is an eye catching centerpiece for sure. I always have a tablecloth with a runner or just a place mat in the center so this works perfectly when using these vases. Very reasonably priced considering I saw them in a boutique store for a lot higher.
