I have this in my great room above my bay window, the only analog clock in my house.
It's a great novelty item, everyone notices it and gets a kick out of it.
The circle that makes up the face is a thin piece, mounted on the square that houses the battery and mechanical parts behind it, so the circle will not sit flush on a wall. And the mount is in the middle of the top of that smaller square in back, making it tougher to find the right hanging point for mounting it.
Other than that, it works well, keeps pretty good time actually, only has to be adjusted a couple minutes each month.
On quiet nights though when I'm just working on my laptop and nothing is on the TV, you can hear the tick tick tick though, so if you're a person who doesn't like the ticking noise, you won't want this hanging anywhere that gets quiet.

I gave this to one of my best friends. It's kind of like an inside joke, and he loved it. It was completely unexpected. Even his roommates thought it was pretty cool and pretty nerdy. It's a rather simple clock that doesn't look cheap. It's a good novelty product because usually novelty gifts just have poor quality, but this was great.

As a former math teacher, I was drawn to this clock! I have purchased it for a former co-worker, who is also a friend, for Christmas. It should be a hit in his room. I was impressed with how quickly this arrived. I ordered Tuesday night and received it before noon on Friday. Since it didn't qualify for Prime, I'm glad it arrived quickly so I feel I got something for having to pay for shipping!

Okay, the review template asked me questions about this "toy". Hey, it's not a toy. I rated 2 stars for educational value, because come on! Do you really going to make your kids do those math problems? It's just a clock, but a pretty cool one at that. Item looks just like picture. The surface looks kind of plastic-y but it's really made of metal. I love it! People have been asking and commenting about it. Everyone thinks it's totally cool and fitting for a geek like me.

Bought this for my nephew's graduation--he's going to be a math major, so I thought it'd be fun for his dorm room. I was really surprised at how cool it really is, and nicely priced! A fun gift for any math lover.

Got this as a present for my dad who was a math teacher for many years. He is really enjoying it and was able to get it hung/working without any issues above his desk.

Not a toy ! But a gift for that math student, math teacher or math geek! Amazon has this listed as a toy insrtead of a novelty clock!

It was really a good idea to substitute the clock numbers with mathematics formulas. My 18 year-old son loved it. Clock has a printed dial with very good finish, giving you a good quality feeling. Strongly recommended to math students and teachers, but also for nerds... Packet arrived inside an additional box and plastic bubbles to protect it. Perfect.
