Have a wild cup of tea with this Tea Rex Tea Infuser! This prehistoric fellow is ready to eat your tea leaves and brew you the perfect cup of tea. Simply put loose tea inside Tea Rex, close and hang from your mug. Fill with hot water and brew tea to your desired strength. Remove infuser and enjoy!

This is a very cute infuser, but not really useful in the regular brewing of tea. It has three main problems that prevent it from being anything more than a novelty discussion piece:
* It is difficult to load, with a neck opening only around 1.5cm (0.5 inches) across. My other infusers are all a bit over an inch.
* Many leaves come through the large infusion holes.
* The shape makes it difficult to clean.
I'll still leave it sitting around my desk at the office as a funny little pun, but after giving it a few tries for tea making I've reverted to my conventional infuser.

I really like the T-Rex infuser. He is much easier to appreciate if you have a clear cup.
I did not find him to be very easy to clean. It wasn't super hard, but you really need something to help pull the tea out. Also, the holes in him are a bit big so a fair amount of tea leaves will leak out. This is a problem with most silicone infusers, but a bit worse with this one. Neither of those are serious issues or any kind of deterrent in making this purchase.

I bought this mainly for my boyfriend and he loves it. The only downside is that the head doesn't stay on well, but it still does the job and is super cute.

Yes, the holes are to big so earl grey fe falls thrue. Also the opening (head) is a bit tricky to fill and empty. BUT if you are a t-rex fan then this dude is so worth it.... Makes me smile with every tea I prepare.

cute as all get out. head does not stay on well. VERY easily pops off. gently lower your dino into your hot water so that the head stays on and you don't get tea leaves all over the place. ;-)

not practical
cute looking but not practical. To small of an opening to get loose tea in. And the filter holes are too large so loose teas spills out in your water.

Large holes
The tea infuser is really cute, but a lot of loose leaves escape through the holes. It is also hard to clean, due to it's shape.
