Wow, such a rip off of Shirley Jackson's novel The Lottery! Not really much more to say than that. VERY short and would really advise parents to preview before deciding to let younger kids read.

Not only is this story a complete rip off of a legendary horror short story - Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery" - but it doesn't bring anything new or interesting to the table. I'm rarely so critical about another writer's work, but this is just bad writing! I do believe the writer may have potential talent, but you can't tell that from this poorly re-hashed tale.

This is so amazingly written, being a writer myself I know these things, and this is a true price of literature.
