This eight-year old girl was first made right around 1979 or so, and we've begun making her again. Isn't she beautiful?
This mannequin can be used as shown, with hands behind the back, or can also be used with the arms in front, as shown in the vintage black and white catalog photo.
Wigs are additional, and are not included in the purchase price.
Decter has been making mannequins for decades-and our process hasn't changed very much.
Like all Vaudeville/Decter mannequins, it's of the highest quality. Made of heavy fiberglass and resin, literally by hand. The casting of each piece, the hand sanding, the primer, more hand sanding, the two topcoats plus another overcoat-all done by hand. The beautiful paintwork on each face in a combination of airbrushing, acrylics, and oils, all done by hand. You can see individual "hairs" in each eyebrow.
Each mannequin is made to order in our factory in Los Angeles. As a matter of fact, every single thing that Vaudeville makes is made right here in the USA-we're very proud of that.
Please note that these are custom made at the time of order, and delivery time on these mannequins is between 5-7 weeks. If you have an event or something that requires a mannequin sooner, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Vaudeville Mannequins also has realistic female mannequins, and abstract male and female mannequins available.
Our mannequins are seen in stores such as Nordstrom, Macy's, JC Penney, Neiman Marcus, and more, and comparable to legendary mannequin manufacturers Adel Rootstein, Patina V and Greneker Wolf & Vine.
Shipping costs are for the continental U.S.. Please contact us for shipping costs to AK & HI. We do not ship to countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
We pack our mannequins extremely well to eliminate damage during shipping. This means that our boxes are large, and shipping charges are incredibly high.
