Raised Fist: That's Why!!!!,

RAISED FIST - DEDICATION
- What a passionate album... From the Music to the Lyrics they seem to be making this music from their hearts. Any band that Lyrically tells you to burn and share there music is ok with me.... (Then again it may be reverse psychology because I did buy the CD) From the first track Get this Right! To the last track Between the Demons this album does not stop making you want to stomp your feet and shake your fist and even sing along. Truth is this album is quite repetitive... which generally for me is a big downfall. My Staple music diet consists of bands like Tool, Dillinger Escape Plan, Between the Buried and Me, Opeth things of that sort... But there is something captivating about this album... maybe it's the speed, the aggression, the honesty... I can't quite put my finger on it. Raised Fist is one of my favorite hardcore punk bands.... (There no Refused but then again No One is Refused!!!) Favorite Tracks: Message Beneath Contempt, That's Why, and Between the Demons Overall 4 Stars. IF YOU LIKED, AGREED, OR APPRECIATED THIS PLEASE CLICK YES FOR: "Was this review helpful?"

Pretty Damn Hardcore,
By Jeff Comstock (Anacortes, Washington, US of F****** A) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dedication (Audio CD)
In a world where Good Charlotte is considered a hardcore punk band (not by me mind you) this is a refreshing sound. It has the hardcore vocal stylings of bands like Fear, but contains enough modern style to be accessable by many groups. Though the vocals can become slightly irritating after extended play, it is still worth while. It has the veracity and temperment of bands like Pantera and old school Metallica, but hybrids that style with punk riffs and vocals. If your looking for something new, check this one out.

Get Fired Up,
This review is from: Dedication (Audio CD)
Back on the scene is Sweden's own Raised Fist with 'Dedication' this is by far on of my most favourite albums of all time.
Raised Fist brings an in-your-face attitude with tracks such as 'Get This Right!' and 'Message Beneath Contempt' which are guaranteed to fire you up. Tracks like 'Killing Revenues' and 'Another Day' are also some favourites of mine on the album and, in my opinion, are the 2 most underrated tracks on the album. 'Between The Demons' brongs a different style of vocals into the mix and is sure to please most hardcore fans.] If you're into hardcore, fast-paced music or Speed punk, buy this album, you shouldn't be disappointed.

I guess that my title pretty much summed it up. But, if you like hardcore punk, this is, in my personal opinion, one of the best hardcore punk albums of all time.

Finally A New Cd That Isn't Watered Down For Popularity,
By Raised Fist (Alberta, Canada) - See all my reviews

Raised fist, well these are the most straight up hardcore guys i have ever heard, they make me want to go do somthing insane, its like an instant adreanaline rush. This Cd is no less hardcore than ignoring the guidelines, and they even expanded their style with such things as a drum solo in "That's Why" (which is even crazier live by the way, he went for 5 minutes)and the breakdown in "Another Day" then transitioning back into pure hardcore is really cool. If You Liked Hardcore Punk, such things as old afi, or refused you will love these guys. I highly recomend this cd.

First off, I saw them live before I baught the CD. I haven't seen a band come close to that in pure energy. Now the Cd. I can't take it out of my disc man. If you like hardcore and you don't have this Cd, then you don't even now the meaning of hardcore. Intense the hole way through. Track 8 "Dedication" shows you just how much true music means to them. Plus the tracks kix.
