I purchased this kit at my local hardware store. When I tried to use the two largest sized drums with a drill press, I found that they were out of round - that is, they wobbled. The finish was unsatisfactory, so I returned the kit hoping to trade for another identical kit. I tested the new kit in the store and it had the same problem, but worse, so I just got a refund.

I use this set of drums with a Milwaukee angle drill, to clean up the inside of bandsaw boxes and to establish contours and round over edges. For the price they are tough to beat. Have been using them for at least three years maybe a bit longer and have no complaints. I found I can use the tubes from my Jet spindle sander, just cut em in half, saves having to buy differant sets of tubes. Get two usable tubes from one Jet tube.
I use this set almost every day and as I said have no complaints. This is a good buy and I recommend it.

The sanding drum kit is easy to use and easy to store, every thing in one place. It's not a precision grinder but for the price it's going to be hard to beat.

Actually I give this set 3.5 stars. I have used the larger diameter drums in my Delta 17-900 drill press with great success. I have also chucked the two smallest diameter drums into my hand drill and used them to aid in fitting new door lock/sets to old doors (enlarging the bore for the latch).

For all you fellow tool junkies out there, granted this isn't the nicest sanding drum attachment set on the market, but for the home hobbyist or a pro who only occasionally has the need, these will serve quite nicely. For 20 bucks you cannot go wrong here...

Does exactly what I expected it to do - fits on my Delta drill press and gets the job done. Is it perfect? In a word: No. However, for most of your sanding needs it serves its purpose. My final analysis: a solid product at a fair price. A good value overall.

This kit is great for your drill press. It works fine for the occasional sanding job. Chuck in into the drill press and start sanding. It has a size for any job. A dedicated spindle sander would cost 20 times more and not work much better.

This is a great way to turn your drill press into a drum sander for those small pieces that need sanding. It comes with every size you will need in your home workshop.

The drums won't stay on the rubber holders unless you really tighten them. If you do that then the drum bubbles out in the center and makes it hard to get a straight sanded side on your stock. It was bad enough that I purchased an osculating table sander.

I only use these ocassionally so for me these are well worth it. If your a serious woodworker, these may not do it.

Amazon has the best deal going with this set. The price is great, and this is yet another way to make your drill press useful...
