This review is from: DELTA 28-165 Bench Band Saw Blade 56-1/8-Inch by 1/4-Inch, 6 Teeth per Inch (Tools & Home Improvement)
There was a little rust on the blades (I bought 4) even though they were in "blister packs". I've only made a few cuts with the first blade but the bald is very sharp and cut very well.

had trouble with this blade as it didnit have blade set. Returned it once for a replacement and the second blade was in the same condition as the first. It appears th;at this was a bad manufacture that got through quality control.
Handling of the returns was good.

I had thought my old blade was sharp but that I must have been doing something wrong. I was trying to rip a red oak 1x2 on edge on a 30 degree bevel (for a threshold / door stop) and the wood kept closing in on the blade, jamming the saw. Not only that, but the cut had drifted 1/16 inch. Since I was only 1/6 through that was looking like a big problem. Interrupting that work I tried cutting a small piece of cedar and the old blade broke.
I found this new one - reasonable price and ordered. Installation was no problem and I applied a little solid lube to it so it would coat the blade guides, which I reset close to the blade and close to the deck. I set up the saw again for ripping the oak threshold, paying more attention to its drag on its wood scrap guides clamped to the deck. With trepidation I started the saw and started feeding the wood. It cut like butter, straight and clean. That's sharp.
