The DELTA 33-400 14-inch 230-volt Radial Arm Saw includes a powerful, 3 HP single phase TEFC motor with an electro-mechanical blade brake. Its exclusive turret arm construction permits the saw blade to rotate a full 360 degrees above the work table for added versatility, a feature that provides full table capacity for cutting both right and left hand miters. This extra long turret arm provides maximum outboard rip and crosscut. Micro-set miter stops to assure perfect right and left miter cuts for the life of the saw and lifetime and track rods with glass-smooth hardened surfaces to minimize roller friction. Also featured are conveniently located front-mounted operating controls for safe, easy operation, and six positive, convenient table leveling jacks to help sustain saw table-to-track arm parallelism for excellent cutting accuracy, and bevel stops at 0, 30, 45, 60, and 90 degrees. Cutterhead return automatically pulls the cutterhead behind the fence so material can be quickly repositioned for the next cut. With a table that measures a full 36-1/2 x 44 inches, this table also comes with convenient fence lock knobs to adjust and lock-in the desired fence position at the front of the machine. With a table height of 32 inches and an overall height of 76 inches, this saw weighs 725 pounds. Included with this saw are a single phase TEFC motor with electro-mechanical blade brake, a 14-inch blade guard with anti-kickback attachment, retractable leaf guard, cutterhead return attachment, a 14-inch combination blade, a cuttinghead clamp knob, an adjustable crosscut stop, steel legs, and an instruction manual.

Get extra cutting capacity with the extra-long turret arm on this heavy-duty radial saw. Crosscut up to 29 inches and rip up to 41 inches with the saw in the outboard position. For angle cuts, the turret arm allows the saw to travel over the center of the table, providing more support surface for the workpiece than standard swing arm saws. Unique Micro-Set miter stops allow individual adjustment of 90 and 45 degrees right and left stops for greater accuracy. The saw carriage travels on lifetime trackways that are hardened and smooth for less roller friction. The trackways can also be rotated to provide a new surface, ensuring accuracy. A cutterhead return mechanism retracts the saw behind the fence after each cut for safety and more productive operation. The 3 horsepower, 230-volt, single phase motor is a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design to prevent contamination from dust. An electro-mechanical brake stops the 14-inch blade quickly for operator safety. An oversized table provides plenty of support for larger workpieces. Six table leveling jacks keep the table parallel to the saw blade for maximum accuracy. Convenient up front controls and large locking knobs provide safe and easy operation of the saw. I have owned this saw for 6 months now and am quite pleased with it. I use it in my small cabinet shop to crosscut prefinished panels and doors. Bought it for the 30" crosscut ability. Saw is very accurate and is adjusted to have zero play in column and turret index stops. Industrial machine with power to spare. All parts are accurately machined and ground.

It is the third Radial arm saw I have owned, from Craftsman 10", to Delta 2hp 12". Found both prior to be underpowered and lacked large crosscut ability. I do not rip on this saw. One positive thing with this saw verses my past saws is that electromagnet brake works very well, stopping large blade in 5-10 seconds - much faster than others.

One negative is that long turret is in the way of your shoulder so it forces you to stand on one side or other of machine while in use. Also if on left side hard to hit power button. Won't be without this saw in my shop.
