The DELTA 46-755X Variable Speed Woodworking Lathe is a powerful 16-inch steel bed lathe featuring a 2 HP motor. The lathe has a 42-inch bed for plenty of workspace, and a variable speed between 0 and 3000 RPM. With high and low acceleration/deceleration and variable speed/frequency, you'll be able to work on any turning task. The lathe is made in the USA with a steel bed construction that is 20 times torsionally stiffer than the typical cast iron designs. The lathe measures 66 x 21 x 30.5 inches and weighs 430 pounds.

"Adjustable speed drive" black box says made in Taiwan on it. Lasted less than 40 hours, glad the $915.50 item crapped out while the warranty is still in force. Waiting at least 3 weeks to get it back from a Delta Service Center where I personally delivered it to, supposed to be ready next weekend? Mid rpm range vibration also (when it runs). Long range, I am going to look for a "simpler" large lathe with 6 to 10 speeds, I do not need the infinite number of speeds offered by the very expensive "variable speed drives", which should not be in a dusty atmosphere, like a wood lathe area!
