DELTA 50-330 31-1/2-Inch Tall Universal Stand with 19-1/2-Inch by 10-Inch Table Top

I was so pleased with how rigid the stand supported my Craftsman planer; I drove right back to the store and bought three more. Heavy-duty construction reduces vibration and the possibility of injury while working with large pieces of stock. I could support my truck on one of these. Assembly is a no brainer. You get what you pay for. (QUALITY) As for holes not matching up to some machines, a drill takes care of that.

I purchased this stand for my belt/disc sander and it fits perfectly. I also discovered it is just right for my bench top drill press so I purchased another. Nice and sturdy with convenient storage underneath.

The catalog said the stand was for the model Delta band saw that my husband owns (BS100) but it did not have holes located in the appropriate positions so it could not be bolted down. We were only able to utilize it after he drilled his own holes to make it fit.

I bought this to mount a Delta drill press. It really is too low for this purpose. It is designed for a shorter person I think. If you are 5'7" then the height might be perfect for you, but for a taller person, it will seem way too low. It may be a good height for other things like a band saw. Hard to tell. Anyway, this is the same complaint I had with the Delta Grinder stand that came with the package deal. These products seem to be sized for short people and have no adjustment built in to make them acceptable for taller people. I will probably build a floor platform to raise it up.

The next bad surprise was that although the top is loaded with numerous bolt holes for different tools to be mounted to it, there was no set of holes for my Delta benchtop drill press. Very strange! I wound up having to drill my own holes. If it is not compatible with one of their most popular products, then I wouldn't expect it to be compatible with anything. This way you are on notice to expect to have to drill some holes, and if not, then you lucked out.

I'm giving this 1 star more than the Delta grinder stand because here I could simply drill more holes, but with the grinder stand, the top plate is way too small for the Delta grinder and I have to fabricate an adaptor plate.

The price is too high for what you get, but this was the same complaint I had as well for the grinder stand. I think that Delta makes these for a few dollars (it is only sheet metal and angle iron with some bolts) and the rest is markup so they make a nice profit off the accessories they sell. Nothing wrong with that, but keep it in mind that when you are shopping for a stand, that there may be less expensive options that work just as well if not better than this stand.

I have now purchased 3 of these stands and have found the excellent for providing a base for power tools. I am using the for saws and a drill press. They come with a hole patterns for Delta tools but it is quite simple to drill additional holes as required. I added lockwashers to all the leg bolts during assembly which I believe is something Delta should consider supplying. All in all an excellent product.

This is a great stand, I installed a small table saw on it. The saw is wider then the stand's base but it is stable and does not move or tip at all. I did have to cut the legs down 6 inches for the saw to be the right height (a grinder made quick work of it). In all the stand is very well built made from heavy gauge steel parts, carriage bolts,and rubber feet, this stand could hold up my truck! The only con I see is the top of the stand is only 10" wide. If i were to mount a drill press, grinder, or band saw i would buy and use this stand again.

Although I had to drill holes to fit my Craftsman drill press, the basic setup was reasonably easy. The result was a very sturdy little stand -- perfect for many bench top tools. Its weight and construction make for a very stable base. Comparing it to, for example, a similar stand (sold by the same store from which I bought the drill press,) there is simply no comparison to be made. This Delta stand is far superior. I will probably buy another soon for my bench grinder.

This turned out to be a very sturdy stand. Good thick, strong metal and a set of hole patterns on the top that should match up with anything.

This stand is rock solid and will easily support several hundred pounds of weight. There is absolutely no flex or give in this stand. Assembly takes about 10 minutes using 16 bolts. Lower shelf has a raised lip so tools and parts won't roll off. The top is heavy gauge steel about 1/8 inch thick. The bottom leg protectors are of plastic and fit very secure. Each of these protectors offer a hole for anchor attachment to the floor.
This stand impressed me enough to buy another without second thought.

Does not include 28-150 9" Band Saw. Haven't found a set of holes that match up. Stand will not mount saw using 4 bolts as required.
