I am a fan of booklights and I believe have tried them all as I read in bed and don't want to disturb my partner. In my mind, this one is the best. LED lights never give me enough light. This incandescent light is perfect. I do recommend the AC however as batteries are bound to run out of juice just when you need it most. The batteries are great for travel though, just carry extras. Bulbs last a good long time but it is wise to have an extra.

The light is pretty good but the AC adapter didn't last but a few months. Uses 4 AA batteries pretty quickly too. Favorite light was Phorm's Light Voyager but can't find AC adapter for it anymore. Oh well. Just keep recharging the batteries.

Had the older model of this light that lasted about 3 years. Incandescent, natural light is best, IMO, and this is one of the few remaining lights not using LEDs. However the light started flickering (after 2.5 years) and required constant finagling with the plug-in port. It eventually stopped working altogether. Don't want to keep using batteries as it uses them fairly quickly.

I LIKE THIS PARTICULAR LIGHT. IT'S BRIGHT AND EASY TO ADJUST. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS I DIDN'T RECEIVE THE ADDITIONAL BULBS AND PLUG IN AS ADVERTISED.

The first time I touched the switch of this book light, it broke. I didn't even have a chance to see if the light worked. I would consider this an isolated incident except that I own a different Might Bright book light that did the same thing.
Don't bother with this. It is cheaply made.
