Nothing Special - Realy,
By Armandolo "armandolo" (SF, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: DEWALT D24001 Tile Saw Stand for D24000 Tile-Saw (Tools & Home Improvement)
The only reason you buy this stand is to use it with the D24000 saw. It is nothing special. The adjustable legs are tightened with the screw so you adjust it once and forget it. Dear DeWalt, for $100 stand if not including wheels, at least include some hard plastic shoes on the bottom of the legs so you can slide it if needed.
The saw itself though is great!

If you own the DeWalt D2400 tile saw, you will want this sturdy stand... unless you already have a place to put a wet, gritty, electrically powered tool that needs a sturdy reliable base.

I purchased this along with the Dewalt Saw. It really should have come packaged with the saw! It is a good stand, can't imagine using the saw without it.
Giving three stars because for this price it should include the saw.

Works just as advertised. Folds up easily and is easy to store. I bought it to use with my Dewalt Tile Saw, and it does the job.

What can I say, if you can't ace a tile saw stand for one of your own tile saws, well, that's bad. This stand does exactly what it's supposed to but I can't rave about it because an 8 yr. old should have done a good job designing it. It works, if you have the D24000 saw then you'll want this.

In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with DeWalt. Additionally, great service and price from Amazon are a bonus.

Should be better,
This review is from: DEWALT D24001 Tile Saw Stand for D24000 Tile-Saw (Tools & Home Improvement)
I got this stand with the saw simply because it was made for it and I had no other stands to use. To my disappointment the stand doesn't allow the tray to sit neatly on the crossbars if used as shown in the picture. The smaller of the two frames pinches the sides of the front end (drain end) of the tray. I had to flip it around (front to back) so that it would sit right. However in this configuration the lower crossbar that was once in the rear is now in front and prevents you from placing a bucket dead center underneath the drain in the tray. You can still drain into a bucket with no problem, but it would just be easier if it was done right to begin with. Another thing is that for the price it should have come with some wheels for crying out loud!!!!! Or at least some protective plastic/rubber feet!! And the bolt pattern on the feet are for really small casters at that ( the best I could find was 1-1/2" ). So, by chance, I found just the right casters on ebay( 2-1/2" wheel and small plate) and just welded them on. Other than that the stand is quite sturdy and the adjustable height is nice. If I were to do it again I would have made my own stand or bought another stand (felker, target, ect.) on ebay and adapted it to the saw.
