I had been looking for a roatary hammer drill for a while, I looked at the "cheap one" from a certain large tool retailer that shows ships in their logo but I couldn't bring myself to ordering it. For whatever reason I decided to stick with the known "National Brand" eventhough they're all probably produced in the same facilities overseas. When I priced out various rotary hammer drills on Amazon this one seemed to be a great price compared to most of the other well known brands. I don't do much drilling into concrete but was in need of the hammering function of this rotary hammer to break up some concrete. I was surprised and very happy with how well it worked to break up concrete (also how light it was to hold). For a DIY user this is a great item you aren't spending a small fortune to get a rotary hammer. I also added the Dewalt chisel bits at the same time. The case this comes with is nice, there was room to store the SDS chisel bits as well as a set of SDS drill bits. I like to have things put away nicely in a case so when I go to use it I don't have to search all over the place looking for the bits that go with it.

I can't say if this would work for heavy duty daily type use but for a DIY'er it seems to work quite well. It's light, has a nice case, and with the SDS bits they are quick and easy to change.

I bought this hammer not expecting so many functions. You got Jack hammer function, Normal drilling and Hammer drilling. In terms of power, it is remarkable. It is much more than i expected.

I made the mistake of buying an inexpensive hammer drill, which worked, but began smoking and leaking oil at the end of the first day. I purchased the D25023K several weeks ago, but I have only used it once so far. It drilled holes in my concrete walls without problems and seems to have plenty of power. You do need to have SDS+ drill bits or a chuck adaptor. I bought the SDS+ chuck adaptor by Bosch which adds to the total cost. The chuck adaptor worked well with the Dewalt D25023K. I have no complaints ....so far.
