Excellent tool,

Took out 8X12 foot 6 inch reinforced concrete slab in 4.5 hours. FYI, bull point tool gets hot during use, use care if you touch it before it cools. It's long cord is really helpful. DeWalt tools are usually quite good and this is no exception.

Nice handheld jackhammer,

I bought this jackhammer to replace the Makita HB1500 series that we had. The Makita was a good hammer but rather heavy for the kind of demolition work we do. The Dewalt is about 10 pounds lighter in use and yet quite a bit more powerful. I would say that it is about 30 pounds in use and that seems to be a maximum for handheld work. It has a really nice soft start feature that allows more accuracy in chipping. I have not owned it long enough to know about reliability, but so far so good.

The DEWALT D25940K Heavy Duty Demolition Hammer with 3/4" Hex Steel Drive System is Great. My men like that it is light weight but dose the gob of a heavy weight. Needed is a selection of points for the hammer.
