The DeWalt D55141BNS Heavy Duty Brad Nailer, Stapler, and Compressor Combo Kit comes with everything you need to start working right away. The easy startup 8 Amp compressor features a 2-gallon tank and a 150 max. psi capacity to let more nails fired and for quicker recovery. Its low 79 dBA allows for lower operational noise and a more comfortable work environment, and its durable oil-free pump provides extended maintenance-free operation. Also included with the compressor are dual quick couplers to support two nailers at once, a ball valve drain for quick and thorough tank draining, and a high-flow regulator for increased performance. A roll cage and control panel provide protection to key compressor components and a convenient cord wrap is included for easy storage.

The included DeWalt D51236K nailer uses 1-1/4-inch, 18 gauge straight collated nails, and features a 100 nail capacity. The nailer comes with a tool-free 360 degree exhaust, depth adjustment thumb wheel, an overmolded no-mar pad for increased visibility and reduced marring on material, and a side low-nail indicator window to quickly and easily see when it is time to re-load. Also included with the nailer is a trigger lock off that allows the trigger to be disabled when not in use. The DeWalt D51420K stapler uses 1-x-1/4-inch, 18 gauge staples, and features a 100 staple capacity.

I got the compressor kit with the 2 nail guns for $199 but, I sold the guns ( I only wanted the compressor ) The compressor alone was $199, So I made out pretty good. As for the compressor I love the compact size,light weight and relatively quiet motor. It works great for finish guns and staplers ( I was able to shoot 17 1" staples before it would kick on ) I was curios on how it would handle a framing gun so I took it on a small job to close in a porch. The porch was 16'x 24' and we framed the walls with 2x6 studs and had 6 large windows. The compressor worked pretty good with the framer ( It ran a good bit but we never had a nail not set completely. I would not recommend it for everyday heavy framing or roofing. I did use it on 7/16" OSB for the floor - there too it ran almost constantly ( Had to wait for it to catch up once in awhile )So for the contractor it's great for trim jobs but not so good for framing. For the handyman or do it your-selfer it works very well.

This is a trio of solidly built tools. I have not used the nailer or stapler yet accept to test them on some scraps. I used the compressor with a framing nailer to put up a fence. It worked efficiently and it seems very strong for it's size. It is easy to carry and store (flat or upright). The dual connections are a nice feature. Everything feels solid and well built; gauges, welds, handles, tank, tool storage boxes. Typical Dewault quality. This kit comes with everything, even safety glasses. This tool goes on sale at Amazon frequently, so keep a look out for huge price drops.

This compressor set is perfect for the hobbyist, home-craftsman and do-it-yourselfer. Molding projects are a breeze. The compressor is small enough to sit on the floor by a work bench and not get in the way. I bought one of those curly-Q, pig-tail air hoses that looks like a big yellow Slinky. I use it constantly for cleaning small items like electric motors, old clocks, gun parts and my wife`s hairdryer. I learned the hard way not to use a garage compressor on a hair dryer. I imagine it would also work great for artist who paint with a small air gun. The supplied tools also work superbly on small building projects. Expecting these tools to work on a framing project is like carrying a knife to a gun fight. When not in use, always leave the drain cock open allowing air and moisture to escape. This will prevent rust from forming inside the tank. DEWALT is constantly offering discounts and dollars off on future purchases. I took advantage of one of these offers and held on to the coupon for awhile. Right before it expired, Amazon.Com placed this compressor set on sale. Using the coupon, I got this set for $179.00. That's a bargain. That was also over a year ago and I have no complaints whatsoever. As I've said before, Amazon.Com is the online shoppers best friend. They make shopping fun.
