DC759 Drill/Driver

The versatile, high-performance DC759 compact drill/driver a maximum of 410 unit watts out--providing enough power for a broad range of applications. The tool also features dual-range variable-speed control--0 to 450 RPM and 0 to 1,500 RPM--that makes material-specific performance easier to achieve. Its balanced, mid-handle grip makes control easy, providing comfort and reduced fatigue when tackling extended projects. Stay on point with the drill/driver's 1/2-inch, single-sleeve keyless ratcheting chuck, which effectively reduces bit slippage as you work.

DW938 Reciprocating Saw

The variable speed DEWALT DW938 reciprocating saw drives its blade at 0-2,800 strokes per minute, and it has a cutting stroke length of 1 inch. Other features include reversing blade for upside-down cutting, pivoting show with open top for maximum visibility, trigger lock for increased blade control, and an electric brake that prevents blades from breaking when exiting plunge cuts.

DEWALT's XRP Extended-Life Battery System

A tool's only useful if it runs long enough to get the job done, and the DEWALT XRP extended run time batteries keeps your tools running at full tilt. They provide up to 40 percent more run time than standard Ni-Cad batteries, and any XRP battery can be used with any 18-volt DEWALT tool, which allows you to expand your system by adding other DEWALT cordless tools (sold separately) as the demands of your job grow.

The DC759CA combo kit comes with two standard 18-volt batteries and a 1-hour charger (XRP batteries sold separately).

This DEWALT tool is backed by three-year limited warranty covering any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship (from the date of purchase). The DC759CA is a combo kit containing a DC759 cordless drill and DC938Recip Saw. The DC759 is an 18-volt 1/2-inch cordless compact drill/driver kit that delivers 400-inch-pounds of torque and built with a 1/2-inch keyless ratcheting chuck and all metal planetary gears. The DW938 recip saw is 18-volts of brute cordless power with 0 to 2,00 strokes per minute and a 1-inch stroke length, the DW938 cuts faster than a 4 amp corded saw, and at only 6.5-pounds, it's lighter than any corded saw, too. The reciprocating saw comes with an electric brake, which prevents blades from breaking when exiting a plunge cut. It features a steel wobble plate and magnesium gear case for maximum durability and a rubber boot, handle, and trigger for maximum comfort while a pivoting shoe with open top provides optimal visibility. Blade reverses for upside-down cutting. This kit includes 2 battery packs, charger and heavy-duty contractor's bag.

I got this April 7,2011 and have use these pretty hard for the past month. One thing about this product is the reciprocating saw, it uses the low capacity batteries

fast. I recommend buying the XRP batteries along with the set for the reciprocating saw. THIS WAY YOU SAVE MONEY, heres how: I have wanted some Dewalt cordless

tools for the last few months for all the hard work here. I know Milwaukee and Makita are higher quality but also higher priced. I'm 13 (using my moms account) and get average $100 a week from

from most of the odd jobs here in Dillingham, AK about 350 miles southwest of Anchorage the largest city in Alaska. Since need to save money I searched and searched and

searched for most of the pretty good quality cordless drills and reciprocating saws. I looked at the XRP drill and recip' saw kit at Northern tool and it was $369.99 then I saw the

same kit on Amazon for a lower price, (I don't know how the owner of Amazon is a billion air when he can lower the price on billions of products AND even give FREE shipping to Alaska my dad says

he get a few cents per item but I don't know?) Then under Similar products I saw this Dewalt combo kit. Then I didn't know what XRP batteries were until I saw another review under this product

that said it would be a grand deal if it had XRP batteries. So that convinced me to see what they were. I asked my dad but he didn't know what they were but told me to go search for them.

I found the description on Northern tool which is to the bottom. Since then XRP drill and saw kit was $369.99 I saw that you could get this kit which was $200 at that time and a XRP batteries 2pack,

which was on sale for $86 (and now is currently $95), and get four batteries and the drill and saw for $286 THAT WAY I SAVED ABOUT $100 AND GOT FOUR BATTERIES FOR THE PRICE OF ABOUT TWO.

This way the two low capacity batteries went two the drill, and the two high capacity batteries went to the saw! I also bought this because I love power tools and I'm a Dewalt fan.

I HOPE YOU SAVE MONEY AND READ THIS REVIEW! FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT XRP BATTERIES ARE THEY ARE EXTENDED RUNTIME HIGH CAPACITY BATTERIES. The paragraphs are messed up cause I'm still taking typing classes.

I received the DC759CA kit today and it was as I expected, not a refurb, but new, in original unopened packaging. It comes with a plastic hard case with lots of extra storage room for bits, blades, etc. It did not come with a bag, as the description says. I'd sooner have the box anyways. It's a DeWalt, so you know the quality is there, and Max Tool delivered as expected and for less than anywhere else.

Drill is very powerfull. The sawzall goes through the battery pretty quickly, but is much easier to handle than the corded makita that I used in the past. Also, the sawzall has a quick locking mechanism for the blades so no need to secure them with an allen wrench and they blade never comes loose.
