5.0 out of 5 stars Nailing made easy
This is one of my best tools. I use it all the time. When you need to nail molding you will really like it. No hammer marks, and it is so easy to use since it is battery operated and you don't need to drag out hoses and Air Pressure units.
It is nice to use for temporary nailing of boards, plywood, etc. And when you are by yourself and need to hang someting in...

2.0 out of 5 stars lots of jams
I get a lot of nail jams with my dewalt rechargeable finish nailer. The gun is new and it is the first I have ever used...so it is possible that the problem is with me or the gun. I think I go through as many nails clearing a jammed gun as regular use. I bought 1.5, 2, and 2.5 inch lengths and all perform the same. It is very frustrating. When things are working...

5.0 out of 5 stars Nailing made easy, December 7, 2011
This review is from: DEWALT DCA15200 Heavy Duty 15GA 2-Inch Angled Nail (4,000 per pack) (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is one of my best tools. I use it all the time. When you need to nail molding you will really like it. No hammer marks, and it is so easy to use since it is battery operated and you don't need to drag out hoses and Air Pressure units.
It is nice to use for temporary nailing of boards, plywood, etc. And when you are by yourself and need to hang someting in place so you can then properly drill holes for larger screws or lag bolts, or just to finish nailing it off.
Also, it has the power you need to drive the larger nails into tough wood and sink them. It is a tool that is limited only by your imagination. I have used mine for 3 years and have never had a problem with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Crown Molding, May 25, 2010

This review is from: DEWALT DCA15200 Heavy Duty 15GA 2-Inch Angled Nail (4,000 per pack) (Tools & Home Improvement)
I purchased these for the DEWALT Heavy-Duty XRP 15-Gauge 34-Degree Nail Gun to put up crown molding in our master bedroom. Reviewers of similar products like the DEWALT 2-1/2-Inch 16 Gauge Finish Nails had complained about the box opening during shipping and nails being scattered about. I'm happy to say I had no such problems. The nails come in sets of 100 nails taped together for easy loading into the gun.

With the sections of molding cut to size and some help from my spouse the work went quickly. So quickly in fact that when the gun appeared to misfire it was actually just out of nails. It was probably not more than 30 minutes from start to finish and I wasn't trying to go fast at all. Aside from the misfire when empty I have no jams or problems to report with these nails.

The 2" length is perfect for penetrating molding + dry wall + stud and the holes left by the small nail heads are easily covered with spackle or wood filler. My only concern before purchasing this product was that it contained 4000 nails! However, after seeing how fast I went through the first 100 I now have no regrets about the quantity; it sure beats making multiple runs to the local big-box store during a project.

When things are working properly this nailer makes life much easier, though.
