This convenient kit contains two professional-duty 18-volt tools: DCD950 cordless hammerdrill/drill/driver, and DC825 cordless impact driver. The DCD950 cordless hammerdrill/drill/driver is a powerful, super-versatile tool capable of drilling holes and driving screws in virtually any building material: wood, plywood, composites, plastic, metal, steel and even poured concrete, stone and concrete block. It delivers 450 units watts out of power, and features a patented 3-speed, all-metal transmission and -1/2-inch self-tightening chuck. The DC825 cordless impact driver has a variable-speed (0-2,400 RPM) motor that delivers 1,330 -inch-lbs. of torque. It combines both bit rotation with concussive blows for quickly power driving screws of virtually any length, including long deck screws, fat tile-backerboard screws, and lag screws. I am pleased with the Dewalt Hammerdrill product I received although it was described with having a soft pack carrying case, what I actually got was a hard case. This is okay with me I prefer the hard case anyway.
