By far the best set of cordless tools out there. This is a fairly expensive set but you are getting high quality tools that will last you a long time. The drill has an enormous amount of power and with the right bit could drill through just about anything. If you're coming from a smaller, lower voltage toolset you will be shocked at the amount or torque, speed, and/or power this drill will put out for you. Take it easy on those screws or you'll strip them real quick.

The recip saw is great, allowing you to position the blade at two angles in either direction to get the blade in just the right spot. The quick release on the blade is also outstanding allowing you to adjust that direction and angle in a matter of seconds without ever putting the tool down.

The circular saw to me appears to be a little bit on the slow side RPM wise but it's ripped through just about anything I've thrown at it without a problem at all.

The light, well it's a light. It is very bright, the flexible neck is kind of cool but there's not many positions you can get it in without the whole thing falling over.

The batteries in this, while not lithium like many other sets still perform wonderfully. So don't turn down this set simply because of that, you should also consider that your investment is in the tools and not the batteries and when the time comes for replacement of the batteries you can easily upgrade to lithium while keeping these tools.

Great combination of tools from a company who knows how to make useful tools. These tools have more power than a homeowner will need and will keep a professional going for years. I own many DeWalt tools and am happy with each one.

I bought this as a birthday present for my husband. I could not resist and wait the two weeks to give it to him. He is totally thrilled to have it. He uses these tools at his job and always wanted a set of his own. He has the Skil set and the batteries never hold a charge and after reading all the prior reviews this seems to be the best out there. Can't wait for him to start some of those sunday chores around the house with his new Dewalt Kit. The kit is up there in price but if you price out the individual tools on amazon the model number with a "B" at the end does not include the battery and the models with a "K" at the end include the battery. All said and done this was a great deal and a great investment. One minor problem, the case when opened up was cracked in one corner where the kits closes at the seam but it works and I have a feeling these tools wont be in their case for very long.
