I have had this set for a few months now and I am very glad I bought it. I am pretty loyal to brands that don't let me down and Dewalt is one of them. I originally set out to buy just the large hammer drill but decided the kit was a better value and included the hammer drill I wanted with Li-ion batteries. I am surprised however that I use that small drill/driver more than anything. It's a nice size and light for making quick work of hanging sheetrock for example. I wish it had drag though. For that I have to step up to the bigger drill. I also enjoy the light, although the flexible extension can really only be used if the base is mounted someway. I like the 1/2" impact drive. I have used that for quickly removing and running down bolts and lugs on tires for example(it does not have the torque to break them or final install them). The sawzall works great, it will run down the battery faster than the drills. The battery life is great so far. I've never had to switch out a battery in a one day job for heavy use. For the around the house work I do the batteries tend to last weeks. This summer I installed a deck 12' X 26' with deck screws using the bigger drill/driver. I had to swap the battery out at least 2 maybe 3 times in the week it took to build the deck. The li-ion will just die there is no run down. It's either all power or none. I do wish this kit contained something other than angle grinder. I'll probably use it for cleaning large rusty parts eventually but it's sort of big and bulky compared to my plug in grinder. I would have rather had a circular saw or jig saw in this kit vs the grinder.

The only bad I've noticed so far is that the drills each have a little led light in them and the bigger drill's light stopped working right after I got this set (I can be hard on tools). The drills also have clips at the base to mount a driver bit. However the little drill has lost it's clip at some point. Also the bag is okay a little thin on material, for the price I would have liked to have seen something heavier.

I was looking to upgrade my shop tools and wanted to consolidate to one brand so battery/charger was only one vice three. This package is just the trick, with all the tools I use, now cordless and heavyduty, and tool bag to carry them all in keeps them together. Ordered via ammazon account best price offered and it arrived two days early, making it under the christmas tree just in time. Was not impressed with packaging when it was delivered, but everything seems to be in original condition.
