Taking measurements for a flooring company is part of my job and this device makes all of the difference! It is accurate to 1/16. It measures quickly. It can factor square feet, cubic feet, and linear feet with a simple push of a button. After taking a measurement you can subtract square footage, too (which works great for factoring doorways or hallway intersections). It is incredibly easy to use. I never have to worry about clearing a path to take a measurement. I don't have a guesstimate odd angles or hard to reach places (like for attic insulation). I don't have to lay down a tape measure twice for long distances. This is my new favorite tool. I can't imagine remodeling a house or doing my job without it.

Great tool. Does exactly what it's supposed to do at a cost effective price. Meets DeWalt's standards. Easy to carry with me all the time.

Small and lite weight with big buttons to operate with nice size easy to read LED screen. Has belt holder case, gives measuring distance or full square footage of a room (WxLxH) and is very easy to use. Great item for the price!!

Easy to use, accurate, small and light weight. Great price! especially considering other comparable products can run significantly more expensive.

Great addition to the tool bag. Intuitive operation, easy to grab and go. Accurate and fast. Lightweight and the batteries have lasted very well. Only complaint is the wrist strap sometimes gets in the way when measuring horizontal distances because it attaches to the front, which is the top when measuring horizontally, thus the strap falls between the device and the wall, but not annoying enough for a 4 star rating.

This unit is very easy to use. The build quality is excellent. No problems so far. I would recommend to anyone who wants a quick measurement of distance, dimension or volume.

Used it to quickly measure room dimension to sketch out the layout of our cottage before undergoing renovations. Sure beats walking around with a tape measure.

Bought this for my contractor son-in-law for Christmas. He was hesitant at first...resistant to change...but now he loves it!! This makes a great gift. Highly recommended.

It's simple, uncluttered, and yet, insanely accurate. And I love the little red light! You got to have this one, guys! (and gals)

Bought this item based on reviews and I could not differ with those posted. Needed to measure bins of feed raw material from the top and this is better than wheeling down a tape measure and getting a reading.
