The DW131 1/2-inch spade-handle drill has extreme power for heavy-duty drilling. The 5/8-inch spindle provides durability in high-torque applications such as mixing compounds or turning large diameter bits in steel or wood. The unit has a powerful 7 amp reversing motor that turns at 450 rpm. The top handle provides increased leverage and is removable for drilling in confined spaces. Includes Allen key and holder.

I bought this drill to mix thin set and grout. No challenge, and with the proper paddle, the results are perfect. I've also mixed mortar for bricklaying with this drill. I've been using it now for about three years and it is still going strong, and it was a refurb (although I still can't tell why). Thanks, DeWalt.
