I'm a builder in Southern Oregon. These things work well for driving long screws with one hand, and they can significantly speed up tasks like screwing down decking. They don't last forever: durability is not their strong suit. But worth it anyhow, I'm replacing my old one.

The thing cracked and swallowed a bit. Gar-bahgge. I have a Ryobi cheapo for the last 10 years. I bought this one for a second drill. After 5 days use, using a DeWalt drill, it cracked. As we write on boxes in the office so the cleaning people will pick them up... "Basura"! I sure wish I could change my stars. Skip this accessory.

There are many times when you need a longer magnetic bit tip holder. This one works, but with some of the shorter driver bit inserts, the inserts can fall out between each driven screw. The outer barrel slides over the driver bit and screw, making starting the drive easier. Haven't found a better one yet (Makita or Bosch or ....).
