If you're like me, you have a bit of a problem following a long chalk line down a piece of wood. Assuming your edge is straight to begin with, this is a very nice option to clamping a fence down to your work.
This fence is also absolutely awesome for hanging doors...you know...where you have to take off that 1/4" or 1/2" to fit it into the frame? I highly recommend adding this to your circular saw case. You'll use it.
