Excellent power has cut anything that I have fed it. Well balanced easy to keep on line. Love the sole plate, it slides across wood like its cutting butter. excellent choice for an all purpose saw.

this saw cuts very smooth, glides on most woods like silk. the sole plate is solid, heavy duty quality--should last for many years. the trigger and handle are robust but very comfortable and secure. the carry case is tough enough to throw in the back of a pick-up truck and go. very good buy!

I have owned this saw for about 5 months now and I am quite impressed with it's performance. I have purchased several DeWalt products (mostly their saws) and have found very few flaws in their products. This saw is plenty powerful and the adjustments are a snap to make. The case is strong and the base plate is better than any other circular saw I have ever seen or used. I would highly recommend it.
