With the Dewalt circular saw, I will say that being left-handed myself, I have grown accustomed to using right-handed saws. The only problem that I have with them is that the exhaust from them tends to blow right in my face. As long as I wear eye protection, it's not too much of an issue. In fact, using a left handed saw now seems odd to me. Also, I have not seen a saw of this quality in a left-handed version, without paying quite a bit of money. It's been my experience in over 40+ years of woodworking, that the best thing to do is to get used to working with the right handed saws.

I do not know for sure. In 2002, DeWalt ceased all tool manufacturing in the USA and moved manufacturing to Mexico and China, but they did announce this past Veterans Day they were brining some manufacturing back to the U.S.
