1. Good price
2. Worked well for cutting plywood and other thin materials (including some finishing materials)
3. Amazon Prime with free 2-day shipping

Cons:

1.0 out of 5 stars Worthless
Brand new out of the package, my first cut on plywood was horrible. I've had better cuts with dull framing blades. So I took it off and put a brand new Freud Diablo 24 tooth on to see if it would do better. The 24 tooth Freud cut the plywood extremely smooth with no effort, whereas this DeWalt tended to bind and load up while producing unacceptable levels of tearout...

This blade does a great job when used with my DeWalt 18v cordless saw. I also bought the Irwin 11820 6-1/2-Inch 140 Tooth as another option and it bogged down even with a fully charged battery. This blade cut smoothly and didn't strain the saw nearly as much. I guess that you get what you pay for as this blade cost a little over twice as much as the Irwin.

Did a long cut on 1/8 thick piece of plexiglass without tearing up the material. Note Be sure to wear your safety goggles when cutting plexiglass, due to the flying sharp shavings.

I installed this blade on a battery operated DeWalt 18v saw. I didn't have any issues, I was a bit nervous not using tape but it worked fine. As usual, free shipping and no taxes works out fine for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT Blade, June 17, 2011

Had some paneling to cut, so I figured I would buy this blade... Threw it on my DeWalt Saw and away we went. no need to tape the paneling, or worry about finishing the edges, it made a great smooth cut! I used the "Frameing" blade just to try it out, and it ripped the panel... so make sure to get the right tool for the job!

So I took it off and put a brand new Freud Diablo 24 tooth on to see if it would do better. The 24 tooth Freud cut the plywood extremely smooth with no effort, whereas this DeWalt tended to bind and load up while producing unacceptable levels of tearout. Difference was night and day.

Both blades brand new. Both bought from Amazon. Both cost the same within pennies. I purchased this believing the 90 tooth format would yield smoother cuts in plywood (its a paneling blade). Wrong. The Freud blade is carbide thin kerf, whereas this DeWalt is probably stamped steel. Theres no comparison. Don't make the same mistake I did... this Freud D0624X Diablo 6-1/2-Inch 24 Tooth ATB Framing Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor is the way to go.

One cut and this blade is going into the trash.

No wonder americans do not have a chance at getting a job. All of the once american companies have contracted out most of the items that used to made in the US where we had quality control and if you made a bad product you did not stay inbusiness for very long. I cannot seem to find anything that doesn;t say made in china.
