So, i have the dewalt 18v cordless saw w/ lithium batteries, brand new... i made a few 2x4 cuts and some 1/2-inch ply wood cuts and this blade started smoking the wood... it is a terrible blade.

The 18tooth blade is terrible... and so is this 24tooth.... just as bad...

I actually bought this 24t blade and returned it... i thought maybe i just wore it out too fast... not the case... dewalt has a horrible product they put their name on.

I was looking for a replacement here on amazon. I found the Freud 24tooth blade for $10 shipped w/ amazon prime... WOW - the Freud Blade is AMAZING.... Do not waste your money with this dewalt saw blade if you're making many cuts in any wood....

I can't believe dewalt has made such a horrible product with their name on it... I know its the blade that came with the saw, and its the starter blade... but to only make a few cuts is terrible!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BLADE

I tryed to make it more stars, but there isn't any. This blade along with the saw cant be comparred to anything else. Ive got to see offices, homes, work areas, all built with this blade and saw. The FRAMEING saw will cut through any wood, like butter. I can't belive it. If your into getting something that may be 2 - 5 bucks more, just to get a better cut, a better rip, and save you time, money, and effort... than this would be the time to go ahead and not buy the cheap one. I can't tell you enough. I had to get a blade at the hardware store this last week, after a co-worker destroyed my blade... the only ones they had were DYABLO... It sucked... i would go through 2 batteries to cut a single 2 x 4. Seriously? Yeah, It took me forever to get my work done... The first thing I did when I got home, was order a new blade... wont touch anything else... Id rather cut it by hand, it would have been faster!

I'm a starter but saw many contractor friends /professional using DEWALT so I have to trust them.
My DC390 only came with 6.5" 18 tooth and DEWALT said it's OK for general cutting purpose. Well, the finishing of the wood edge is just too rough even for an amateur like me.
This 24 tooth did cut the wood like ToFu with smooth edge.
I would suggest DEWALT shouldn't save that little money and include this 24 tooth saw blade instead of 18 tooth in their XRP set.

This blade made short work on my projects allowing my cordless saw to run longer on a charge.
