I love dewalt stuff- virtually all my power tools are Dewalt. I have generally had good experience with their branded accessories like blades and this is no different.

This fits their quick release oscillating multi tool (OMT) (which I love- more power vs. an earlier Rigid model I had) and stays sharp for quite a while- handling nails, studs, plastic piping and wood trim.

4 stars only because this is currently the most rugged blade they offer to fit their "universal" OMT but it doesn't hold a candle to Bosch/Dremels carbide tipped version. Perhaps it's not fair to compare two different technologies (Titanium nitride coating vs. solid carbide tipped blades) but considering that they offer this as a sort of their top of the line, longest lasting blade it's not as good.

Maybe this doesn't matter for you- but I work on older houses with plaster and lath. If you don't know, plaster chews through metal blades like nobody's business. I figure I can cut about 3 linear feet with one of these in plaster before cutting time when back in wood will double or triple. With the bosch/dremel version, I throw in the carbide tipped blade- slice through plaster and right through the lath. I wouldn't use the carbide version to cut only through wood unless it was a quick trim- the teeth are too small. So whichever blade you use, there is still place for the other.

I will continue ordering these in addition to the Bosch/Dremel version which requires an adapter to use with my Dewalt. Hopefully Dewalt will offer a carbide version soon.

Works good. Adding depth guide in surface would help. Do not use this to nails. Depending on the kind of the material the teeth worns out fairly quickly.

Way overpriced and a cheap blade from HF lasts longer. I love dewalt products but I would not purchase their blades again.

DeWalt is really knocking it out of ballpark with their new DEWALT DCS355D1 20V XR Lithium-Ion Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit, which I've also reviewed as probably the most useful tool I own now.

Adding to my blade collection seemed like a no-brainer and I added this blade as an extra to my DEWALT Dwa4216 Oscillating, 5-Piece.

I like the blade, it does as it's supposed to cutting with ease. We will see how long it lasts. I'll probably update this review once I get a better idea of blade life expectancy.

Wait for a good price to come up and jump on this puppy if you need it!

used it ti cut through wire mesh joint "tape" under plaster when removing plaster walls. It was not as durable as I had hoped. Plain bi-metal blades worked just as well, if not better.
